Job Description

Engineer.ai has witnessed immense growth in the company in recent years, giving rise to challenges in in the Human Resource too. With this background, we are seeking to hire a human resource manager from HR Operations Background, with attention to detail focus, to deliver and create a high quality, responsive human resource management function that meets the current and future needs of the organization.

The manager will be responsible for the following 3 main tasks:-

1. Supporting and executing including, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures. The manager will ensure that staff policies and procedures are aligned, in accordance with national and global best practices in the tech sector.

2. Someone with experience in managing outsourced payroll for India and facilitate execution support to all our locations.

3. Provide Tech-HR support on all HR software being used at Engineer.ai and online tools used.

Requirements

1.1 Human Resources Documentation

Responsible for the HR manual being complete, current and compliant with local labor laws, especially in India, UK and the US;

Learn the various HR tools and processes needed to execute the HR Vision;

Identify any areas where policies need to be developed and manage development

Lead all writing and finalized paper work including Manual, policies, contracts,letters issued in HR in all different locations;

Need to have the correct paperwork in process for all, employee files updated time

to time thru a monthly audit;

1.2 Manage Payroll amp; absence from workplace

Ensure salaries and benefits are accurately and reliably benchmarked to local and international labor markets, as appropriate;

Prepare HR management information to gain greater insight into the trends within engineer.ai and to support continuous improvement in the management and monitoring of absence from work.

Provide appropriate recommendations to HR head to tackle any issues observed

Manage the leave / Absence from work management for the employees

1.3 Employee Relations and Legal

- Provide a dedicated HR advisory service in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change and the range of employment and employee relations matters;

- Investigate employee relations issues including grievances and disciplinary matters, and recommend appropriate action, participating in hearings where necessary;

- Ensure that all the paperwork on board is legally vetted and compliant, even if that means run it thru our legal counterparts;

- To develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with departments within Engineer.ai;

1.4 Performance Management Systems amp; Induction

- Provide guidance to staff on performance management systems, including conducting induction programs / onboarding when required; Once the recruitment is done, onboarding is the prime responsibility of this job including sending our welcome mailers, setting up systems before the employee arrives on day-01 and subsequent follow ups.

- Support senior management and line managers to ensure that quarterly and annual reviews and performance planning are conducted regularly, well and on time with proper documentation duly filed

1.5 HR Online Platforms and HR Tools on HR Management amp; engagement

- Conduct annual staff engagement surveys and implement plans to address issues that come up during such surveys;

- Conduct training needs analyses; identify and inform staff of opportunities for staff development;

- Be hands-on all HR tools and online platforms we are using; must ensure time to time that all employee data there is updated on these platforms;

- Remain updated on all latest versions including namely, Workable, Harvest, Webtel, AHA, Hiringplan.io, Angelist, Slack to name a few. Upon joining a detailed training be provided on each of these.
