Who Are We?

W HealthVentures is a Boston-based venture capital firm focused on helping build the future of healthcare delivery. Founded by serial technology entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist Sunil Wadhwani, W Health invests in and incubates early-stage companies that address critical unmet healthcare needs leveraging technology and AI in the US and India.

We are creating a "Venture Studio" for Digital Health - an innovation platform that builds transformative healthcare companies from scratch by discovering disruptive opportunities in healthcare. Distinct from the venture capital and accelerator approach, our venture studio will be closely involved in idea generation, day-to-day operations, and strategic decisions of growing the new business.

What You Will Do

You will be creative and executional force to set up our offline marketing playbook across cities PAN-India. You will be having both left brain (sales instincts) and right brain (consumer and communications) skills rolled in one. You will be responsible for understanding cultural/city nuances, consumer behaviour, communication tonality to arrive at city marketing campaigns and activities to drive brand awareness and sales.


Responsibilities

1. City and Consumer Context

  • Visit and do ground recce of the cities where we expand (5-10 Top cities)
  • Understand the consumers by visiting relevant touch points (clinics, markets etc.)
  • Research about city culture, people: their tone, preferences, and lifestyle
  • Make working relations with offline activation touchpoint stakeholders
  • Make working relationships with local newspapers and print media stakeholders
  • Identify events / conferences to participate to increase brand visibility

2. Marketing Activations and Campaigns

  • Strategize and execute marketing activations that suit business objectives (awareness, engagement, and sales)
  • Work with a team of designers and content professionals to design creatives and communications
  • Work with city sales team on distribution of creatives (Newspapers, magazines, kiosks, camps etc.)

3. Measurement and Iterations

  • Track growth and ROI of campaigns across relevant metrics (increase in foot falls, increase in social mentions etc.)
  • Execute tactics to increase effectiveness of the campaigns (both growth and ROI)
  • Constantly iterate to make the brand as neighbourhood brand

Requirements

  • A relevant degree in management and/or marketing (preferably MarComm)
  • 3-5 years of grounds up experience in offline marketing and/or sales function
  • Excellent articulation and communication skills
  • A natural creative knack and design aesthetic
  • A strong eye for ROI and numbers
  • Comfortable with digital business nuances (marketing and product)
  • Growth Hacking Mindset
