About the role (Key Responsibilities)

  • Demonstrate leadership abilities. Should have minimum three years of experience in leading a team of at least five individuals.
  • Managing users and vendors and serving as the project lead for small to medium-sized projects.
  • Audit Management Experience
  • Effective interpersonal skills required to handle a wide range of parties, including users, top management, IT teams, project teams, and suppliers.
  • Application support amp; MS Windows environment experience.
  • To provide technical mentoring and support for members of the team
  • Purchase and vendor negotiation and completion of the Hardware procurement cycle
  • Strong understanding of IT Security protocols, processes, policies and standards
  • Able to motivate and groom the team to deliver and meet the SLAs on a consistent basis.
  • Resolves service tickets on time and in accordance with Service Level Agreements, as well as ticket triage and monitoring the ticket queue.
  • Establishing a shift roster and managing shifts with the necessary workforce during business hours
  • Reviewing the trend of support cases connected to endpoints, deployment, and areas to identify any areas of concern, proposing, and implementing improvement measures.
  • Participate in the recruitment process by identifying skilled individuals and onboarding them.
  • Hardware and software asset management.
  • Provide technical services and support users both locally and remotely
  • Prioritise work according to helpdesk tickets
  • Build and configure laptops/desktops to required standards (Autopilot/Intune/MDM)
  • Support and maintain meeting room equipment (Logitech Rally Bar + Tap)
  • Document maintenance for all computer systems and applications implemented.
  • Ad hoc project work as required.
  • Performing software and operating system upgrades, ensuring system licensing is applied correctly.
  • Creating application packages in Intune for deployment to endpoint devices
  • Hardware refreshes as required.

Requirements

Essential skills and experience

  • 3+ years of experience of Microsoft Windows 10
  • 3+ years of experience of Office 365 Products
  • 3+ years experience of AD servers (User account management, GPO, Print servers, etc)
  • 3+ years experience with helpdesk systems
  • 3+ years experience with ITSM/ITAM tools
  • Critical thinker with great problem-solving skills
