About The Role
CIVICA is looking to hire an Associate Project Manager to join our growing project management team. The successful candidate will be involved in the assistance of day-to-day delivery of Agile development projects. The role will assist in taking responsibility and being part of a team that will deliver at least one ongoing software development project including financial management.
This role will be measured by the following criteria: 85% of working hours to be billable; delivery of high-quality product in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System

You will be involved in the below mentioned activities:
- Following direction from Project Managers and team members delivery of software development projects
- Assistance in removal of impediments and blockers to project progress
- Be part and assist the team working on a project
- Develop and continuously learn from your team members
- Be part of a team that builds productive client relationships and identifies and develop opportunities for new business
- Assist in the management of project budget by following te lead of Project Managers and team members
- Maintain project artifacts (backlog items, burndowns etc) to ensure effective running of delivery projects
Required Educational qualifications:
First class and above grade in BE/BTECH/MCA equivalent degree from a university of UGC accreted.
About You
We are looking for a highly capable and broadly experienced candidate, with commitment to work across boundaries and flexible to work within a matrix structure.
You will also have:
- Experience in at least one Agile Methodology (preferably Scrum)
- Familiarity with structured program and project management approaches (preferably PRINCE2)
- Intellectually strong with an excellent academic record
- Experience of working in a client facing environment not necessarily in Project Management
- Excellent team working with exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Innovative, flexible self-starter with excellent analytical skills
- Proactive personality and able to work autonomously
- Good team player with a collaborative approach to working
- ‘Can Do’ attitude
