Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Converting ML Algorithms and analytics logic to APIs and SDKs depending on the product’s demand.
- Converting python inference code to C++ to achieve interoperability when required.
- Propose and develop solutions independently. Doing POCs and being able to suggest novel method for performance, security and scale.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Product Managers simultaneously to deliver required features which are dependent on Data Science algorithms.
- Recommending optimization scheme to Data Science team.
- Write white papers, blogs on design and architecture used.
- Integrating ML Models with various products and producing the architecture for the integration.
- Constantly profiling and benchmarking the performance of ML systems.
- Work with associate ML Engineers to achieve the result faster with efficient collaboration.
- Estimating and planning the tasks after discussion with engineering team.
- Maintaining and versioning the integrations, APIs and SDKs.
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors in software related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology and Software Engineering etc.
- Good understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms.
- 4+ Years of Experience
- Experience with AWS, Serverless framework, API Gateway and AWS Batch.
- Experienced with C++, WASM and Python.
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Exposure to AI libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, OpenCV would be preferred.
- Understanding of ML algorithms and data science libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Scikit and Matplotlib.
- Ability to use data from SQL/NoSQL sources and doing basic data manipulation. A background in building software will add a lot of value.
- Proficiency in software engineering practices like agile and Git.
- Strong communication skills for efficient collaboration.
- Basic leadership skills to guide juniors in the team and being able to get solution delivered with effective planning.
