Role Overview:The purpose of this position is to lead the Learning Procurement Team. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, process and documentation orientation, and the desire to work in a fast-paced educational tech environment. The role will primarily include the procurement of digital assets for the upcoming and running courses worldwide. This will involve designing cost saving strategies for procurement, maintaining supplier relationship, updating purchase records. The role will be responsible for ensuring that procurement is done within the scheduled milestones. This role will also be managing the work within defined processes and SLAs. This role will ensure that escalations are monitored and resolved in timely manner, while responding to all the stakeholders with accurate update.Role responsibilities:
  • Devising and using procurement and sourcing strategies.
  • Managing Learning procurement (digital learning assets) activities.
  • Point of contact for any procurement or purchase of Learning assets in the organization.
  • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
  • Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Supplier Invoice reconciliation
  • Liaison with the legal team and stakeholders to negotiate and finalize the contract amp; SoW with suppliers
  • You will work with the relevant stakeholders for commercial problem discovery and resolution.
Key skills qualifications:
  • Any Graduate/MBA
  • High level of integrity
  • Proven working experience of 5-8 yrs. as a Procurement Officer
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Eye for detail
  • Good understanding of the procurement process, risks, dos and don'ts
  • Excellent at collating and analysing data
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
  • Preferred to be experienced in Ed tech/eLearning procurement background
  • Must have team management skills (handling 1- 2) team members
  • Must have experience in cross functional team coordination
