Where do you come into the picture?
As a Senior SDET you will be an integral player in the Nium team based in India. You will be responsible to discuss, plan and execute the test strategy for functional and automation by working closely with our business, product and engineering teams which is providing the best Payment experience to our Consumers and Partners. It consists of web, mobile and microservices where you have to work to build and maintain a robust, stable and scalable automation framework. You must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced and agile environment which we are building using the latest cutting-edge internet/software technologies.
Primarily focusing on: Nium Payments - Consumer and Partner Payments.
What expertise amp; experiences would you need to have to play this kind of role?
- Improve the test automation experience at Nium by enhancing tools/scripts, test coverage, and/or code structure, and Automate repeated manual tasks to improve self/stream’s productivity
- Build, contribute and maintain automated test suites and frameworks on API, Web and Mobile App utilizing Java/JavaScript or similar languages.
- Take responsibility for the entire life cycle of your stories: development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements with the guidance of leads.
- Solve the complex problems and challenges towards business, product and tech into stable/scalable implementations.
- Ability to break down business and product feature requirements into tests effectively. Responsible for its functional and automation testing.
- Build and contribute to test infrastructure and tools at an early stage.?
- Deep expertise in Functional, Automation testing for Web, API’s and Mobile apps both Android and iOS.
- Work with Business, Product and Dev teams in close coordination.
- Well versed with Agile methodology, SDLC and STLC.
- Ability to highlight limitations and raise concerns/risks in testing to the stakeholders before release
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in API using RestAssured FW Or Mobile App using Appium (Android amp; iOS) Or Web Automation using Selenium, Nightwatch, Cypress or similar frameworks.
- Worked and build the frameworks from scratch with needed capabilities to make it stable and scalable.
- Hands-on experience and good in Java, Javascript, Python, Kotlin or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE and TestNG.
- Service virtualization / Web Services testing through POSTMAN or any similar tool.
- Deep knowledge of CrossBrowser coverage, Selenium Grid Setup, Reporting Plugin’s (Extent, Allure, Report Portal), Device Clouds etc
- Deep knowledge of both Android amp; iOS platforms.
- Experience working with Android SDK, Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Firebase, Google Play Console amp; Xcode.
- Proficient in CI/CD/CT Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab or similar continuous integration and release management tools.
- Proficient in using product and test management tools like JIRA, Asana, TestRail etc
- Agile / Scrum / Kanban experience Soft Skills.
- Ability to work and communicate with cross functional teams.
- Good analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
Good to have -
- If you have experience on performance, infra and failover testing.
- Worked and good understanding towards AWS cloud, GCP, Azure or similar.
