We are looking for a PHP Lead Developer with 5+ years of relevant experience with PHP and 3 years of experience managing a team of Web Developers.
We are looking for someone who understands what BusinessLabs is upto, and we are keen on bringing only a few people to the team (not many) who feel they will fit our culture and wish to be part of the mission we collectively achieve.

Relevant experience in php: 5-7 years
Team Leading Experience: 3+ years
Skills and relevant experience:
- We will be looking at you for the below skills and relevant experience.
- You should have at least 5 years of experience coding web apps/websites and building complex functionalities with PHP as your core tech stack.
- You should have led a team of 6+ web developers for over 3+ years.
- You should have completed at least 2 years in your current organization.
- You should be good with Core php, mysql, javascript, ajax with regards to backend. (Knowing any additional CMS like WordPress and frameworks like Laravel will be of preferable but is not mandatory
- You should have good experience working with the Database and handling merging, distribution and mashing up of the data programmatically.
- You should have beginner-level experience in HTML, CSS, and javascript, so for a straightforward page layout that could take 15 minutes, we are not waiting for a front end personnel to do it the next day.
- You are confident in presenting your work to project managers and other teams in other parts of the world.
- You are good at writing business emails, replying to client queries, have good spoken English and overall are a good communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Write code while maintaining the quality and hygiene of code for projects/tasks assigned to you.
- Making the code readable, relatable, and referenceable in all projects that you or your team performs.
- Manage a team of 6+ web developers, helping your team members perform their assigned projects/tasks.
- Help your team members with the completion of code, train the team members(juniors) in their coding practice, guide /mentor your team to optimize the code, etc.
- Help subordinates write better code.
- Make your team achieve their KRAs.
- Take initiatives and present your Involvement in developing websites/web apps/software that is scaleable and has many features that tens of thousands of people use daily.
- Lead the projects/processes and special projects.
- Develop websites, solutions, and features on multiple projects.
- Present your and your team’s work to teams in other parts of the world.
- If needed, travel to our other locations or client locations in the US, UK, Dubai, and Singapore to facilitate the workflow.
