Role responsibilities:
  • Role reports into the head of Sales. Owning quarterly and annual sales goals and driving the inside-sales teams toachieve their goals, ensuring attainment of top-line amp; bottom-line org aspirations.
  • Craftamp; execute profitability-led sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the Sales Head and CXOs for organisational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
  • Build processes and funnel for top-down reach out, onboarding, activation, and expansion. Conduct weekly data-driven reviews of managers and teams. Work with Training and Quality teams to set up and tune processes that deliver customer delight.
  • Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed feedback.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Revenue Management, Product andMarketing Teams, to define, drive and launch improvements in the learner experience and create the optimal product-market fit.
  • Plan, allocate and dynamically review the allocation of sales resources across programs and LOBs to drive resource efficiency. Plan and execute Incentive plans. Plan and execute processes to drive repeat and referral purchases.
  • Deep-dive into areas of weakness, analyse data and develop and execute recovery strategies.
  • Discover and pilot new processes, methodologies and technologies across channels to continuously drive efficiency, productivity and scale.
  • Work with HR in planning and reviewing compensation; creating and enforcing policies and procedures. Set up processes that identify and develop high performers to create a strong managerial pipeline
Key skills qualifications:
  • Candidate should have a proven track record of building amp; manage a strong sales team with a deep understanding of consumer buying, marketing tools, lead management amp; CRM.
  • 8-12+ years of relevant B2C Sales leadership experience with a strong track record of success. Has managed large field or inside-sales teams. Experience in strategic and execution-oriented roles. Entrepreneurial experience or experience in education will be highly valued.
  • Preferably from a top-tier Business or Engineering school, with strong data-analytical capability and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • High energy, confident and capable self-starter; can operate with limited supervision. High bias for action. Team player; ability to work well with diverse people and drive consensus.
