Our program delivers sustainable weight loss by integrating doctors, medicinal innovation and health coaches on a single platform. We're shifting the perception of obesity from a lifestyle stigma ridden with guilt to a treatable medical condition.
Role
As a Consulting Doctor, you will provide medical consultation through tele-medicine to Elevate Now’s patients who would like to lose weight. These consultations and medical prescriptions would be based on the proprietary clinical protocol developed by Elevate Now’s Clinical Board.
You can be a consultant with Elevate Now in addition to your usual clinical, hospital or academic role.
Responsibilities
- Manage doctor consultation with patients via telemedicine (video)
- Follow Elevate Now’s clinical protocols and renderi sound medical advice (Rx) to the patients on losing weight though medication
- Help the patients understand the science behind the prescribed medication plan
- Apply knowledge and a data-driven approach to improve experience and patient outcomes
Requirements
- Experienced Endocrinologist/MD internal medicine with at least 2-3 years of prior work experience in an established healthcare system
- Prior experience in a healthcare startup/telemedicine is an added advantage
- Empathetic and a problem solver
- Good communication and articulation skills
