Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Social Media Insights Analyst to work in our Bangalore team starting immediately.
Job Role
Your job title will be Insights Analyst and you will report to the Manager, Insights based in Bangalore.
You will work translating business questions into social listening solutions, creating Boolean queries, rules, alerts, sentiment QA, tags, and categorisations as per client needs and cleaning data.
You will support in translating complicated concepts or data outputs into easily digestible and visually appealing presentations.
You will work as part of a wider project team and you will be responsible for delivering the tasks allocated to you by the agreed deadline.
Requirements
- Have a graduate degree or 1-2 years experience.
- Possess excellent written communication skills in native-level English.
- Able to demonstrate strong evidence of your analytical skills.
- Be digitally savvy and able to understand and engage on Social Media platforms. Understand the different types of communication by platform (Twitter vs Facebook etc.). You should be conversant with abbreviations, platform-specific words, and acronyms.
- Able to work independently, managing your time and deadlines appropriately but also equally happy working as part of a global remote project team with different time zones and cultures.
- Good working knowledge of Excel.
- Experience in creating visually appealing PowerPoint presentations.
Additionally, these skills would make you stand out as a candidate:
- Experience using social media monitoring tools such as Talkwalker, Synthesio or Netbase.
- Experience with Boolean query development with the ability to write complex queries, create bespoke dashboards and provide effective data segmentation.
