As our new (Content Scheduler OTT), you’ll have the opportunity to:
- As the Content Editor you will be responsible for writing articles to accompany all of our live and post produced sports content. This role will be the key liaison between our production and marketing teams ensuring we are giving customers the correct detail around our sports content. The Editorial Content Scheduler will be working closely with content managers and operations divisions, to write a brief synopsis for each asset on our sports content platform. This role will involve writing interesting and relevant content to draw customers to our platform to watch varying sports content on our OTT product. This role will require some journalistic background along with a good knowledge of sports, particularly who the top players and teams are from around the world.
- % of role Working closely with our Central Content team to ensure all articles are produced and written on time and in our brand style HIGH To include relevant and exciting images to the fixture that you are writing to help customers visually understand the content they are accessing HIGH Updating articles with changes to the Order of play as they happen and update clients on any issues surrounding the start time of their event to ensure ensure that all the issues are resolved in accordance with internal or external SLA’s
- Skill Level (out of 4) Excellent writing skills, able to engage customers in the product with short, exciting and relevant information. Excellent knowledge of worldwide sports in general, major players and teams.Sound technical knowledge.Basic troubleshooting before escalating the issues to other departments.Good knowledge of how social media platforms work Knowledge of editing platforms and an understanding of formats and audio configurations. Knowledge about the transcoding and syndication platforms Experience with internet and mobile technologies. Ability to multitask across several events Building and maintain external and internal customer satisfaction with products, services and expertise.
