Title : Director - Finance Controller
Purpose of the role :This position is head of accounts and will be responsible for the direct management of several key accounting and financial reporting functions within the organisation, including periodic closure of books of accounts; statutory and internal audit, procure to pay, working capital management, financial and regulatory reporting; internal controls and risk management; compliance with contractual documents and government regulations.
Roles and responsibilities :Developing financial strategy, including risk mitigation plans and opportunity forecasting.Manage end to end finance and accounting activities including Accounts Payables, Receivables, monthly/yearly books of accounts closure, IT control and regulatory compliance.Implementing the best in class accounting practices and internal control procedures.Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and smooth closure of financials, statutory and internal audit.Provide daily/weekly/monthly financial and management reporting including budget vs actual Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the businessImplement the effective internal control and compliance framework and implement IFC controls.Support the working capital management, liasoning with the bankers.Finalise the timely month close process, complete the month close reporting, consolidation of the financials and reporting to the management.Develop and implement SOPs for various business processes and ensure compliance.Drive technology projects, automations, implementation of the ERP for the company.Review and support the tax related matters
Skills amp; Competencies required :12-15 years of experience with at least 10 years of relevant experienceChartered Accountant or MBA from tier I/II school.Financial reporting and statutory complianceAbility to manage high performance diverse teamAbility to interact and influence external and internal stakeholdersExceptional interpersonal skill and demonstrated leadership abilities.Excellent analytical skills, motivated, smart working (along with hard working) and self driven leaderPrior experience in a startup or Big4 will be an added advantage.If you fit the above description, we would love to connect with you!
