The ideal candidate


As the VP People and Culture, we will look to you for fostering our culture, helping us overcome challenges that come with rapid scaling. You will also be responsible for everything people ops and recruitment, and lead the entire people strategy of the organization. You don't need to be from a consulting background but recent experience leading the people function in a mid-stage tech startup is ideal.

In this role, you will work closely with our CEO and others in higher management to lead initiatives across the organization including, but not limited to, Evangelising the vision, mission and values of the organization to the India team, talent acquisition, talent programs, engagement and retention, career development, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee experience and remote and return to work strategy.

You will design our culture alongside our CEO and higher management by building programs that support our team and allow them to grow into the best version of themselves. This role is based out of our Pune office.


What you’ll do


Culture

  • Collaborate with the CEO, and leaders of all departments to develop a People strategy that aims to maintain and increase employee engagement
  • Be a champion of Torinit culture and implement HR best practices throughout the organization
  • Gain an intimate understanding of Torinit’s business, and purpose in order to design people ops processes that scale with the company including performance management, onboarding, career paths, employee engagement etc


People Operations amp; Compliance

  • Work with Professional Development Managers to set standards for employee coaching, mentorship and professional development
  • Work with COO, India to implement employee management systems that will help with performance management and people operations
  • Craft and manage our compensation strategy using data-backed insights and analysis
  • Support leadership team with programs and initiatives for emerging leaders within the organization
  • Ensure Torinit maintains compliance with HR policies and regulations


Recruitment

  • Work with the recruitment team to design recruitment process that offers a great candidate experience and helps us find the best candidates
  • Work with the recruitment team to source and close critical talent for all roles across the organization
  • Work closely with the CEO to define our culture and values, You have exhibited the ability to understand the business objectives at the companies you've worked at so you could balance employee experience and company goals


Community

  • Work with Community Managers to engage with the larger tech-community and implement new age programs and events to inculcate them
  • Stay up to date with emerging management trends across various industries

Requirements

  • 7+ years in HR at fast-moving, high-growth technology companies
  • 3+ years of experience in HR leadership as a Director or VP or Equivalent
  • An experienced People leader who has owned a broad range of functions in high-growth environments.
  • Understanding and experience working across all People areas culture, employee experience, talent acquisition, compensation amp; benefits, Lamp;D, DEI, operations.
  • Empathy, great communication skills and a high degree of self-reflection combined with the desire to care for people.
  • Solid general business skills, including analytical and project management skills, comfortable with managing budgets and monitoring business results globally
  • Ability to influence internal business partners, lead change, and accomplish goals through a collaborative effort
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create, communicate and direct
