RoundGlass is looking for a dynamic Leader to drive amp; execute a robust amp; differentiated Content amp; Conversations strategy for its Thali Collective. This role requires strategic vision, strong editing amp; communication skills, in-depth culinary knowledge across different Indian regional cuisines, leadership skills, creativity, wide-ranging curiosity, and understanding of how food contributes to wellbeing.As Editorial amp; Content Lead, you should have a depth of experience and knowledge to bring strategy and perspective to overall functioning of RoundGlass Thali. You will decide, plan, script, edit content - both visual and written, help maintain quality and factual accuracy, and mentor team members in both aspects. You will help evolve the annual content strategy and examine the ethical considerations of the content Thali will or will not run.You will also be required to work with the team to help improve their skills in the following categories: writing and editor, attention to detail, fact-checking, quality management, thinking beyond your next script amp; content plans.What you’ll do:
- Develop product vision, content and strategy by working backwards from the customer and defining / driving overall product strategies and roadmaps
- Develop a comprehensive editorial strategy amp; work with Creative lead to define a visual guide to standardize operations
- Ensure all content amp; scripts are on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice and optimized for search and user experience including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person
- Work with content strategist to ensure all content supports and extends the brand’s initiatives
- Develop a functional content calendar throughout the enterprise verticals
- Supervise the editorial team on content development, based on the defined strategy
- Drive prioritization across multiple development teams and communication with internal stakeholders including user testing with customers, go to market strategy with product marketing and the adoption plan with Sales
- Support standards, systems and best practices (both human and technological) for content creation, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies
- Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
- Work with technical team to implement appropriate CMS
- Participate in the hiring and supervision of content/story experts for the Thali Collective team
Who we’re looking for:
- 15+ years of experience in video led content along with writing, editing, and management experience is strongly preferred. Any experience in the area of digital community creation and wellness will be seen as an advantage
- The culinary knowledge required to edit articles, recipes, scripts and other cooking content authoritatively and recipe development expertise is required
- Exposure to and understanding of international standards of content quality and strategy
- A creative thinker with progressive ideas on wellness and a highly motivated self-starter
- Able to function in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environmentand think strategically yet focus on execution
- Driven to hone existing skills and acquire new relevant ones
