The Project Procurement Associate will be responsible for working with each business unit to implement centralized indirect sourcing and procurement efforts. This will include working with the internal stakeholder from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs. This job encapsulates the category procurement amp; vendor development, purchase of various services, inventory management, demand alignment and team management. What you’ll do:
- Candidate should have a hands on experience in Opex purchasing, contracts and agreements.
- Hands on experience in Vendor Contract management handling is preferred
- Candidate should develop and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and guide them to select most appropriate products / solutions to ensure their success
- Candidate should have Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers
- Candidate should be able to monitor delivery lead time, Quality and Cost.
- He / should be able to do strategic sourcing planning amp; timely payments.
- He / She should not limit to any negotiation to ensure cost remain at control
- On time payment and tracking of payments Vs supplies
- Development of multiple vendors for local supplies
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market
- Good knowledgeof supplier or third-party management
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
- Good hands on ERP system
- Should have experience on Freight purchase, clearance services and transportation.
- Should have good exposure to monitoring inventory movement by demand amp; demand fluctuation
- Should have good expertise in analyzing ageing of inventory and pre-intimation of inventory status
- Candidate should be able to analyze Demand vs Supplies, weekly review with team to analyze it, consolidating all demands from various departments, and also able to establish recommunication with internal departments.
- Organize and meet with team and other department member i.e Sales, finance and marketing and other department for smooth functioning

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in civil or a related field, with 5 - 8 years of experience.
- Has proven ability to grow the business multi-folds.
- Demonstrated skills with the proven ability to influence without authority at all levels in an organization.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Cost conscience, time and service.
- Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written.
- Willing to set up the purchase department from the start
- Good knowledge of excel and MIS system.
- Needs to be commercially savvy in terms of budgeting, cost management, financial accounting, treasury, risk management, etc.
