The Role:
We are looking for a Project Manager (techno-functional) to join our Customer success team! The PM is a critical role and is responsible for the management of projects and controls related to the support of Import.io’s customers. The PM sees the big picture, knows what it takes to achieve it, and drives results. Your role is keeping the list of to do active projects/tasks, avoid bottlenecks and keep things moving, you’re the linchpin in getting things done, making customers happy, and greasing the wheels for the team. While this is an individual contributor position, it could also include supervision of other members of the team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead high profile, complex, cross-functional projects by creating project plans and managing resources to meet dead. lines and budget
- Coach and train project team members on processes and best practices
- Implement new/revised processes for seamless execution and measure the process adherence rate.
- Build relationship with stakeholders and customers on handling escalations.
- With entrepreneur mindset, identify talent, liason with talent management to ramp-up the team. (inc, campus recruitments)
- Implement KCS (Knowledge entered service) and improve knowledge base creation and self-help for support business.
- Keep key stakeholders up to date on project status and potential blockers
- Enhance project management process to accommodate rapidly changing software needs
Requirements
- Led and managed complex technical project implementations at a software company
- Expertise in understanding technical domain and translate the requirements to
- You thrive in a fast moving, fast growing, start-up environment
- Previous experience coordinating and working with both in-house and external resources
- You know how to use project management software to plan and manage multiple concurrent projects
- You have a rock-solid understanding of technology and are a bit of a data nerd
- This isn’t your first start-up
- You are a highly skilled multitasker and are incredibly organized
- Excel under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time.
