Business Development - Business Development (Hospitals, Doctors, Institutions, Insurance)
The Head Sales is an entrepreneurial manager who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business. This key leadership position is directly responsible for the successful sales of Healthcare Services in the country.
He/she will directly report to the Vice-President of the company and will manage a team of region in each of the geographic locations under his/her purview and would be responsible for the Pamp;L of these regions

Job summary:
Lead the development and execution of Business Unit-wide country Wide Client/channel/product/Service expansion amp; development strategies and the establishment of long-term relationships with potential key clients and customers in line with business objectives
Business metrics:
Incremental revenue and EBIT/GM of near expiring/renewals/new business
Managing operating departmental budgets and costs where applicable
General responsibilities:
Drive the identification, evaluation and management of business opportunities/leads (especially complex cases) that will contribute to short- and long-term financial goals
Oversee complex/large market research/business analyses, evaluate findings, assess the strategic viability of alternative opportunities and propose recommendations
Lead pricing and contract negotiation activities with potential clients/customers to facilitate deal closing. Advise on upselling opportunities and oversee contract renegotiations with existing clients
Oversee the improvement of current Business Development processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy
Lead and oversee activities related to Business Development workforce capability and client/customer data management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in identifying upselling opportunities, deal negotiations and finalization of contracts
Formulate and lead the management of departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
Lead the establishment of long-term relationships with potential key clients/customers with the view to enhance business opportunities
Leadership responsibilities:
Set direction and cascade team/function goals to ensure goals are well-defined and clearly communicated
Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Business Development and DTDHI behavior to achieve team/function goals
Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Business Development and DTDHI behavior as part of continuous learning
Functional skills and knowledge:
Demonstrate business development experience in applying business development principles for medium- to large-sized hospitals/companies/insurance in similar industries
Demonstrate general application of strategic thinking and business acumen in thought processes and decision-making Proven client and customer account management skill
Demonstrate ability to manage global/regional/country level assignments and projects
Proven proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/-cultural interactions
Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Education:
Degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Healthcare
Master's in Business Administration is preferred
Other qualifications related to the technical know-how work area (e.g. engineering, chemical, medical devices, pharma etc.) will be considered
Work experience:
Minimum eight to ten years’ experience in a similar industry, especially in sales, marketing, business development related work, hospital/pharma/Insurance/Healthcare Startup industry etc.
Minimum of ten to fifteen years’ experience in a managerial capacity
