Requirements
What will you do:
- Own the whole lifecycle of services, from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
- support services to go live through activities such as system design, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
- Write and review codes for automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
- Partake in on-call rotation with DevOps and backend engineers.
- Practice sustainable incident response and root cause analysis.
- We use: AWS,Kubernetes (EKS),Helm chart, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Vault, Consul, RDS/ES/Kafka/Mongo/Scylla/Cassandra
Who will be a good fit:
- 8+years of solid technical experience and expertise.
- Proficiency in Systems amp; Networking [Linux]
- Architect level knowledge on Cloud computing platform [AWS]
- Knowledge of any Container Orchestration tools, preferably Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of administrating SQL/NoSQL databases [RDS/ES/Kafka/Mongo/Cassandra]
- Proficiency in one or more of the following language: Java, Python, Go, Perl or Bash.
- Good in debugging large scale distributed systems and technologies, for example, load balancing, monitoring/logging, distributed systems, and configuration management [Terraform/Vault/Consul]
- Good understanding amp; experience with software engineering best practices like Automation and CI-CD
- You take great pride in building an effiecient product that creates value to its users
