The Banquet Manager is responsible for functions held in the hotel banquet and all details pertaining to functions keeping with the standards prescribed by management.
Duties amp; Responsibilities
- Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales and labor costs.
- Achieve maximum profitability and overall success by controlling costs and quality of service.
- Control of Banquet, cutlery, glassware, linen and equipment used.
- Completion of function delivery sheets in an accurate and timely fashion
- Help in preparation of forecast and actual budget function sheets.
- Generate Leads and increase sales and profit.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Manage all Famp;B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
Requirements
- Proficient in English
- Degree or three years Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
- Previous experience in similar job role or minimum 4 years experience as Banquet Sales Manager.
- Experience in Hotel management software and Point of Sale software
