ABOUT TOPPR
Toppr is India’s leading ed-tech company with a mission to make learning personalized. Our adaptive after-school learning app for classes 5th to 12th is used by over 20 million students. Along with the learning app, our School Operating System (School OS) and the recently Launched Toppr Codr product, provide students with the complete in-school, after-school and co-curricular learning ecosystem. We have the widest syllabus coverage with over 20 subjects, 20 boards, and 50 exams. We believe each child is unique with distinct learning needs. We are building Toppr as an adaptive platform to increase engagement, optimize learning and improve outcomes for all students. Toppr was started in 2013 by IIT Bombay alumni Zishaan Hayath and Hemanth Goteti and is backed by venture capital firms like SAIF, Helion, Eight Roads, Kaizen and Foundation Holding.
This role reports to Associate Vice President - Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible to identify growth opportunities across the lifecycle of a customer signing up on Toppr.com to the point they subscribe to the product and enjoy it later.
This will be achieved through a deep understanding of product/marketing/sales functions together with data.
You will also manage all aspects of the marketing automation process and be the owner of the marketing to sales hand-off. So, expect highs and lows of your execution reaching you very fast.
As a leader of growth inside Toppr, you will be dealing with problems which involve many stakeholders. This comes with a responsibility of communicating with clarity and frequency.
You should be comfortable dealing uncertainty, hearing NO's, navigating with 80% correct answers and pushing through darkness. That's how great value is built - slowly and gradually.
You should be able to define the problem structure, able to break it down into manageable steps and show progress swiftly. (progress can be closing open ideas to save energy, take actions to build on an idea, bring consensus from your stakeholders or concluding bad experiments)
You should be able to focus energy of you and your team on problems based on impact on growth. For example, we expect you will prioritize an initiative which impacts growth by 5% on a 50% user base vs an initiative which impacts 50% on a 0.01% user base.
