We are currently looking for a Core PHP Developer (Immediate Start required) with a 1 to 3 years of experience required.

Job Summary:
- In the role of PHP Developer, you will be part of our Technology Team, providing planning and development of projects of various scale, form, and duration, utilizing your expert knowledge of LAMP and MySQL.
- You will use your eye for detail and obsession for clean, well composed code to build out a range of projects from dynamic websites, digital devices to mobile web applications, playing a critical role in bringing the company's vision to life.
- Working collaboratively with each of our practice areas, you will collaborate with your peers to assess project plans for feasibility, while providing your own input from a technology perspective. The candidate should have some team leadership experience in working with sub-contractors and other developers that might be assigned to projects being led by you.
- We're looking for a PHP developer with a proven track record for creating efficient, scalable, and manageable enterprise- level systems using open source technologies.
- The right individual for this role will keep up to date with new and emerging technologies while sharing that knowledge with the team, contributing to an environment built innovation. Extra attention will be given for individuals with HTML5, Linux and XML, and any knowledge of Blog Platforms and/or any social media enabling media integration and scalability with business solutions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience with PHP, MySQL, Linux, Apache Server, server administration, and hardware experience.
- Working knowledge of PHP frameworks and CMS such as, Code Igniter, WordPress and Magneto.
- Experience with page speed testing and optimization techniques.
- In-depth working knowledge of JavaScript with and without frameworks like jQuery.
- Experience working within a team setting
- History of successful schedule management
- Solid trouble shooting, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies
- Understanding of/ experience with unit testing and source code control
- Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies
- Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience is preferred. Bonus Skills
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience with newer JavaScript technologies (node.js, backbone.js, Underscore.js).
- Web Services - Experience building modern web services using XML.
- Work with digital devices and network appliances connecting to enterprise business systems.
- This is a senior position; we're looking for somebody who has at least 4+ years of development experience;
- Proven track record of accomplishments; written and oral communication skills who can help prepare for meetings with clients.
