As an Accounting Associate, you will be a part of the Accounts department. You will assist accounting manager and senior management in recording, reporting and managing company’s finances. You will also be required to provide administrative support and suggest ways for improving the overall accounting process of the company to team. Attention to detail and excellent communication / interpersonal skills are essential. JOB REQUIREMENTS:Key AccountabilitiesPerform month end closing activities and support Accounting Manager for various complex entries relating to abovePerform complex accounting analysis and general ledger activitiesAn expert in R2R process, good understanding of various workstreams and dependencies in the processAble to lead or play a significant role in complex accounting discussionsDefine problem statements in various accounting areas and ensure issues are resolved from start to finishLead projects to drive improvements/efficiencies of current processesPrepare monthly reconciliation of accounting GLsSupport Accounting Manager in direct, indirect tax related filings and queries with external advisors Provide support to the Accounting Manager and business as the need arisesKey Performance IndicatorsKPIs Include (not limited to):Month end closing Journal postingsReconciliationsTax reconciliationsPERSON SPECIFICATION: Educational Qualification Required: M.Com/CA InterMinimum Experience Required: 3-5 YearsCreative and collaborative team playerExcellent attention to detailExpert level Excel experience required Self-starter, motivated to provide the highest possible level of responsiveness and performance as part of a teamOracle hand on Experience preferableShould have knowledge in Tax applicableShould be well versed with International Accounting Standards
