Job Description
The Growth and Business team at Apna owns user and revenue growth metrics across all business lines candidates and employers. The team has played a key role in Apna’s growth journey to become a clear market leader in the space within 18 months of product launch overtaking multiple incumbent players. This has been achieved by managing multiple short and long term levers, such as marketing, sales, search engine or appstore optimization, product changes and partnerships and tactically thinking through resource and capital allocation, cost-upside trade-offs and realization timelines across multiple initiatives. We are adding new members to the team to augment our existing capabilities and help chart Apna’s next phase of rapid business growth amp; product development.
Requirements
- Develop and execute communications strategies and initiatives to support Apna’s vision of connecting people with opportunities.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
- Interface, consult, and collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams across the company.
- Drive positive stories across a broad range of media, including for policy-makers, consumers, business,es and industry/ trade.
- Support and manage the creation of press materials and customer/partner reference programs.
- Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events, as required.
- Prepare briefing materials and manage executive spokespeople
- Create content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a monthly amp; quarterly basis
- Minimum Bachelor degree, Post-Graduate or professional degrees preferred.
- ·Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience in employability, recruitment, HR tech will be a bonus
- Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English with exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- 5-7 years professional experience (with a think-tank/consulting firm/ research/public-affairs/PR agency or on the client’s side)
