We are looking for a smart, collaborative, hard-working UI/UX Design Lead to be part of a team building an amazing multimodal transport experience. You are an accomplished, hands-on UI/UX design lead. You will be responsible for Bussr products’ design strategy by making products addressing our market needs, easy amp; convenient to use, functional, visually appealing and optimal amp; affordable to develop amp; penetrate. By maintaining good customer and market knowledge, you will successfully design products that help transform the mobility experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the product design strategy for the bussr products in collaboration with Customers, End-Users, internal amp; external stakeholders from product, engineering amp; business.
  • Conduct multiple market research, competitive analysis, user behavior amp; experience research, prototype testing, and similar to validate the Product Market Fit.
  • Translate research into outstanding user experiences, steward design from concept to final code. Creation of key UX artifacts such as concept maps, storyboards, taxonomies, prototypes, patterns, information architecture, workflows and design specifications.
  • Utilize industry best practices for delivering the right product designs.
  • Keep track of industry trends amp; translate market trends into a compelling product design direction and vision
  • Track and present multiple reports amp; analytics for success amp; adoption of the product in targeted customer segments.
  • Drive alignment by collaborating with designers, developers, sales and product managers to drive a shared understanding of users' needs and behaviors.
  • Demonstrate high quality design practices. This includes participation in all aspects of UX: research, ideation, strategy, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Shape the strategy by setting high-level design goals to ensure a consistent and engaging experience.
  • Empower and mentor designers in the team, fostering a collaborative, productive, and positive environment within a growing team.
  • Enable, drive and lead the design team, managing project tasks and deliverables using agile methodologies. Lead team stand-ups and ensure that the projects are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Highly communicative and responsive both within the team and to stakeholders across the company while managing a large volume of ongoing projects.
  • Plan, lead and moderate virtual and in-person design thinking workshops

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer and 1+ years as a lead or manager in a cross-functional UI/UX team in a reputable organization.
  • Proven success designing and optimizing high-quality product experiences for a variety of platforms including desktop, web and mobile iOS and Android platforms.
  • Expert of wireframe and design collaboration tools (e.g. Figma, Zeplin, InVision,.etc)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Sketch, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Mastery of UX interaction and design principles and deliverables including rapid prototyping, concept diagrams, user scenarios, wireframes,
