THE JOB ROLE
Support for the execution of typesetting, files formatting on multilingual files to ensure that localized documentation matches the source one. Verification that the documents meet customers acceptance criteria.
Close collaboration with team members to ensure project goals are met and schedule is adhered.
Implementation of linguistic and formatting changes to the documentation, as required by customers localization process.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in source/target such as fonts, artwork or other depictions such as graphs, tables, videos, etc., and determine the best course of action.
Communicate effectively with internal and external teams and clients during project execution: define deliverables, provide status reporting, troubleshooting and working with Service Management team.
- Lead the production portion of localization projects to deliver products per client specifications, within schedule and budget guidelines
- Support the business development process for the estimation and analysis of electronic files for new projects and for answering technical questions during the sales process
- Contribute to the continuous improvement process through research and implementation of new tools and applications, ensuring training for all people involved in the projects
- Analysis of the production key performance indicators
- Support for carrying out the final quality check of the project deliverables
- Handling customer complaints by providing solutions and continuous follow up of corrective and preventive measures
Requirements
Excellent English communication skills
Understanding of documentation localization process.
Very good command of MS Office, Adobe Suite (InDesign, FrameMaker, Photoshop) and E-learning software.
Knowledge of foreign (European) language will be an added advantage.
