Job Description

We are looking for a driven campus scout to join our talent acquisition team to attract and hire top talent across premier engineering institutionsand Business Schools. The individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining exemplary relations with universities and be the brand ambassador for all our recruiting entities and in effect continue our tradition of being a day 0 recruiter across premier institutions.You will be required to identify and define hiring needs, source talented candidates through events and advertising campaigns, interview potential candidates, and monitor newly recruited employees and interns.To be successful as a campus recruiter, you should demonstrate an excellent ability to attract and engage with potential A candidates. A skilled campus recruiter should be a critical thinker and able to clearly identify vacancy requirements and suitable talent.What is the job like?
  • Assessing the hiring needs of the company and developing job descriptions and specifications accordingly.
  • Designing and implementing recruitment strategies such as campus events and social media campaigns.
  • Researching hiring trends, competitive benchmarking, compiling recruitment reports and presentations.
  • Sourcing talented candidates through a variety of means including events, advertising, and databases.
  • Maintaining relationships with universities, student organizations, and recruitment networks.
  • Screening resumes, running hackathons and managing recruiting processes right from sourcing, interviewing, offer and onboarding.
  • Developing internship programs and evaluating the performance of new employees.
  • Hosting and attending college career days and conferences.
  • Managing all administrative tasks such as updating recruitment databases, hiring profiles, and applicant documentation.
What you need?
  • Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in campus recruitment.
  • You have experience working with Tech/Product companies/startups.
  • You are highly charismatic with exceptional communication skills - written and spoken.
  • You possess considerable experience with myriad sourcing strategies including portals, ads, consultants, social networking, conferences, headhunting etc
  • You display demonstrable creativity with respect to sourcing top talent.
  • You have a sound understanding of the recruitment process and university databases and Applicant Tracking Systems along with excellent marketing and advertising abilities.
  • You have the ability to grasp and deliver an excellent pitch to potential candidates.
  • You have experience with using new age media such as social network, LinkedIn, blogs etc. and experience in defining and implementing online marketing campaigns through social media, search marketing etc.
  • You are process oriented with a demonstrable commitment to defining, documenting and following processes and workflows.
  • You have experience with designing and conducting interviews along with being a good judge of character, and have sound decision-making skills and great networking abilities.
  • You possess sound knowledge of recruitment practices and keep up to date with trends.
