Job Description
- Perform functional, integration and regression testing based on product release requirements and report metrics.
- Design amp; develop test plans and cases
- Design and develop automation scripts
- Identify, isolate, document and track bugs clearly and concisely in the bug tracking database.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing amp; Automation
- Perform functional, integration and regression testing based on product release requirements and report metrics.
- Design amp; develop test plans and cases
- Design and develop automation scripts
- Experience with web and mobile test automation / test scripting (Selenium/Appium)
- Experience with leveraging SoapUI, Postman or similar testing tools for API testing
- Familiarity with load/performance testing tools such as JMeter and other open source javascript based libraries
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
- Identify, isolate, document and track bugs clearly and concisely in the bug tracking database.
- Good understanding of test and defect tracking tools (Jira/BugZilla or others).
- Sound knowledge of test methodologies related to different phases of the software test life cycle
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills (able to analyze software requirements).
- Knowledge of test techniques, test scenarios generations, estimations, experience in test specification preparation.
- Good communication skill (oral and written), quick learner for new technologies.
- Strong verification and validation testing and analytical skills.
