Job Description

As Team Leader-Sales in Resident Engineer departmentyou will be responsible to focus on analysing the Industrial Automation Sales, capture the maximum market share for Omron Automation. You are responsible to foster sales in the specific timeframe. To prepare and execute efficient sale plans with the entire range of Omron products amp; its solutions, to penetrate the Coimbatore region market amp; leverage Omron strength.

  • Responsible to prepare and execute aggressive sales plans and achieve the sales targets in the assigned region stipulated by the management.
  • Responsible to implement amp; monitor monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans as per the business sales forecast. Develop and execute long-term strategy for growth of the business in the assigned region.
  • To manage individual and team targets assigned by the management.
  • To foster amp; monitor sales revenue by offering Omron one step solutions to potential customers OEM business and segments of Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, Whitegoods, Energy, Digital, Panel Builders, Infrastructure.
  • Creating effective account plans for each (KEY) accounts and manage the execution plan against each of these plans.
  • Identify and develop potential customers in the assigned segment and maintain the healthy relationships with the existing customers in the assigned region, ensure IHS (In-House Share %) of existing amp; new customersamp; System Integrators grows year on year.
  • End to end Chanel Partner (CP) Management amp; Building strategic relationship with existing amp; new CP
  • Intra-department coordination with the organization (Omron) to deliver the best services amp; solutions as per the commitment given to customers.
  • Responsible for performance management and development of the team.
  • Responsible to plan seminars/ product demos/ road shows at customer’s site as per the requirement.
  • Reports and MIS preparation amp; Analysis.

Requirements

Academic amp; Professional Qualification

  • B.E or equivalent diploma

Achievement amp; Experience

  • 11+ years of work experience of industrial automation sales in OEMs, Automotive, FMCG, Pharma, Whitegoods, Energy, Digital, Panel Builders, Infrastructure in Coimbatore region.
  • Sales of Industrial Automation products like PLC, HMI, SCADA, Motion Servos, Vision, Safety, Sensors, Control components, panel components, SMPS, relays etc.
  • Robotics product experience would be an added advantage.

Important Skills amp; Behavioral Competencies

  • Good Communication amp; Presentation skills with an eye for details.
  • Ability to work under pressure, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.
  • Team handling experience.
  • Competent to handle product demo and Technical queries for customers.
