We are looking for a QA Engineer to drive End to End testing activities with attention to detail, critical thinking, team working skills and ability to work under pressure to deliver awesome products with highest quality. The engineer must understand best practices in QA testing to create a reliable testing framework and pipeline for robust product releases.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and execute automated functional browser-based QA tests.
- Implement and execute integration, performance and API testing.
- Detect and report reproducible defects to the wider dev team.
- Collaborate with the dev team to ensure test coverage against requirements and user stories.
- Perform manual testing of new features on the browser.
- Evaluate the testing process, make recommendations as necessary.
- Be part of the scrum team to provide all necessary QA coverage
Requirements
- Comprehensive experience of using test automation tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Cypress etc
- Expertise in Object-Oriented and/or Functional programming principles, development standards, practices and patterns, along with a thorough understanding of software architecture
- Experience in Postman, API Testing is a must
- Good experience in performance testing.Experience in developing test scripts, creating scenarios, test execution and analysis using Loadrunner and any monitoring tool.
- Excellent communication skills, being able to confidently articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences (including senior managers), and lead discussions both within and outside of the Technology space
- Strong understanding of the principles of Agile working patterns and frameworks (e.g. Scrum/Kanban).
Desirable:
- Proficient in JavaScript
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, AWS, will be a plus
- Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL data stores (relational databases, mongoDB, elastic search, etc.)
