Job Description
Zycus is seeking for a creative designer with a passion to do it right.
This role includes all the critical aspects of UX function - persona definition, information hierarchy, user research, usability study, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, analysing usage data, cross product consistency, Responsiveness across form factors - to create wireframes for our entire Source-to-Pay suite of products.
Our ideal candidate has an uncanny sense for clean design, is a fierce advocate for the user, and is committed to creating elegantly simple user experiences from otherwise complex workflows
Qualification: Graduate and above with a formal design learning
Experience: 3-5 yrs
Work Location: Mumbai
Comfortable with design tools like Sketch, Axure, Adobe, Invision, Zeplin, etc.
Candidate will work with the Product Manager Group team to solve complexities in the space. Creating wireframes / mockups/ walkthroughs/ presentations to communicate the design to stakeholders and run relevant tests to ensure the usability shall be a part of the process. Will include collaboration with the visual design team, engineering team and others to bring the designed piece to life.

o Work closely with engineers to translate designs into the final product. ie. concept to prototype to wireframes to visual design.
o Create high quality visual guidelines and and maintain design consistency throughout the product(s).
o Conduct usability tests independently, present findings and recommend corrections.
o Come up with micro-copy that’s not just correct but engaging too.
o Is familiar with multiple platforms for Web and Mobile Development.
o The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean, simple and artful design.
o Should be up-to-date with the current mobile apps, UI trends and Design and interaction solutions
Requirements
Key Skills we are looking for?
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Have experienced in end to end UX journey from conceptualizing to launching of product design.
- Understanding of best practices, as well as knowledge of analysis, research and/or design principles and techniques.
- Experience in communicating and collaborating with senior executives, product managers, engineering teams and other stakeholder teams to envision, define and implement designs.
- Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into delightful customer experiences.
- Ability to communicate and demonstrate the value and rationale of layout decisions to business and technology partners.
- Excellent communication skills, with attention to details.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, colour, iconography, visual identity design and appropriate visual design techniques for different delivery mediums
- Possess an individual layout style along with strong conceptual skills demonstrated within online software and mobile experiences.
- Ability to quickly build personas, user stories, user journeys, information architectures, wireframes and visual layout options in an agile environment.
- Expert level knowledge of design tools, e.g. Sketch, Axure, Adobe, Invision, Zeplin, etc.
- Experience in Websites, Mobile and Tablet based applications for all platforms will be a plus.
