About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Technology Architect based out of our Gurugram office. The successful candidate must be both a management decision-maker as well as a daily task manager with fellow software engineers. He/she must have solid startup experience and currently manage a team of at least 10 people.
Additionally, he/she needs to have at least 9 years of experience as either a Software Engineer or Architect. He/she will ensure high-quality amp; on-time products and continuously innovates to improve engineering efficiency.
This position is operational and highly dynamic with responsibilities changing depending on the business needs.
We use a variety of tech stacks to solve our day-to-day problems like React, Mongo, MySql, Elastic Search, Redis, Memcache, and other backend technologies for APIs.
We are deployed in AWS and use many services provided by AWS. We follow microservices architecture and agile methodologies to keep us at our toes all the time.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the technology landscape for new technology opportunities, develops prototypes and collaborates with teams to introduce features into the estate.
- Drive the evolution of standards amp; design patterns with industry-standard methodologies and new technology to enhance productivity, quality, and system performance.
- Coordinate and lead projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Work closely with development teams to craft technical principles amp; strategy.
- Drive program amp; system architecture discussions to identify a suitable quality solution to the business requirement.
- Actively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundaries.
Requirements
- Experience in developing scalable, high availability software products.
- Extensive experience with back-end technologies like PHP/Python/Node.JS and mobile technologies like PWA, Android, or iOS.
- Exposure to Web technologies.
- Hands-on technologist with experience in Caching(Redis, Memcache, Varnish), Micro-Services, REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of webserver (NGINX), Serverless, ECS/kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, MySql, and NoSQL.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or other related degree, Master degree is preferable.
- Deep, hands-on programming and technical design skills with demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to influence and manage global stakeholders, and comfortably work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and multi-matrix environment.
- A proactive and creative thinker who provides a clear vision, inspiring and engaging staff to deliver excellence.
- Ability to establishes and maintain effective working relationships and influence with key stakeholders based on professional credibility and excellent communication and engagement.
