The Opportunity
We’re looking for someone who can run a well-established recruitment process (our process is highly rated among SaaS companies in India) and improve it. The primary objective is to hire the right candidates for the right roles in time. You are expected to create a fantastic experience for all the candidates. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has high energy, likes talking to people, and wants to try their hands at something new. You’d ideally be someone who wants to constantly get better at your skills.
You’d be involved in hiring for multiple roles across different functions during this internship and so you will get a chance to interact with almost everyone in the team which will add to your experience here. You are not expected to come up with evaluation criteria, conduct interviews, etc. Those will be taken care of by the individual function owners that are hiring.
You don’t need any prior experience in recruitment or HR to apply. We just need you to have a growth mindset. We’ll train you for everything you need to do in this role.
Responsibilities
- Publishing the openings on various job boards to attract the best candidates.
- Testing the whole candidate experience for each role and making sure that is optimized.
- Evaluating any applications that we receive based on preset criteria and responding promptly.
- Make a quick call to candidates who clear the initial screening to introduce the company and explain the next steps.
- Reaching out to good candidates proactively on LinkedIn, AngelList etc based on specified criteria.
- Coordinating with recruitment agencies/companies when required to find good candidates.
- Sending out assignments and scheduling interviews for candidates.
- Coordinating with the necessary teams internally to keep them updated on the progress or clarify any questions.
- Follow up with candidates and collect feedback on the interview process.
Stipend
The stipend for this internship will be 25,000 per month.
Requirements
- You should be eager to learn and grow in your career. You should be happy to take up any work that comes your way. That flexibility is critical to this role.
- You should have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills, ownership of outcomes and an attitude to learn and implement new things.
- Smart enough to pick up tools like Asana, Workable, Canva, GIF Creator, etc.
