Reporting to our IT Applications Lead, your key duties will include:

• supporting the development and implementation of application roadmaps in line with overall global IT strategy;
• working with the Product Owner/ Project Leads to define and understand requirements;
• taking business requirements and supporting on the design of Salesforce solutions by leveraging the native capabilities of the platform with minimum custom coding;
• producing technical documentation and functional specifications for custom implementations (where required);
• supporting the technical delivery of custom development, integration and data migration elements within the Salesforce environment and ensuring that code developed is technically sound;
• working with QA and test teams for assurance and defect management

Degree qualified or equivalent, you will bring proven experience of Salesforce development and have real desire to develop yourself and your technical skills. Experience of working on Salesforce development projects is essential and you will also have experience of working in an Agile scrum and test driven environment.

You will also bring:

• exposure of multiple components of the Salesforce Lightning Platform, configuration experience would be desirable but not essential;
• strong communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a project team or work directly with users, where required;

• experience of process automation, security configuration, data model creation, reports and dashboards creation, communities and Force.com sites; and
• a passion for web technologies and a strong understanding of Salesforce best practice.
