Infrastructure Engineer(Contract)

• Overall accountability for day to day management of IT Infrastructure (server and storage) - System uptime and SLA (Service Levels Agreement) management, Problem and Change management.
• Enablement of IT Infrastructure as fully automated, software defined Data Center and offering as a Platform for Enterprise-wide Consumption.
• Maintain Availability, Performance, Scalability, Security, CSAT amp; SLAs for core infrastructure.
• Provides expert level Tier 3 technical infrastructure support services for issues elevated from the Support Center and other Technical Services groups. Ensures reliable operation of production. Diagnoses and troubleshoots availability interruptions and other production issues.
• Maintains, monitors, and tunes Production system and applications performance.
• Performs capacity planning activities.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience.Expertise in managing Linux OS (RHEL or CentOS) and service like Samba, Apache, Iptables, SFTP amp; FTP
• Experience in scripting using any of Bash/Shell/python/ruby.
• Automation using Ansible / Terraform.
• Good knowledge in Server hardware and troubleshoot ( Dell amp; IBM )
• Good understanding of Network, DNS.
• Experience in managing Production servers.
• Good knowledge of Linux server security and Backup.
• Monitoring tools experience ( PRTG, Zenossamp;Nagios )
