Job Description

  • We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented individual to join our outbound Sales team in India.
  • You will be responsible for acquiring new customers in the Indian market, using multiple sales channels including calling, email and relevant digital channels, as well as physical sales at events and customer meetings.
  • Build a strong direct sales funnel to make MODIFI the leader in Trade Finance for Indian SMEs.
  • You are a hunter, who rolls up their sleeves and sniffs out opportunities, taking cases through the entire sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Team up with global Sales amp; Biz Dev teams in other countries to exploit cross-selling opportunities (with our direct customers or the counterparts of customers).
  • Be extremely results driven, exceeding ambitious targets (financial, customer satisfaction, operational) and taking MODIFI to the next level in India.
  • Partner with cross functional teams across Product, Marketing, Venture Development, Finance, Legal and Risk to remove obstacles and close deals.
  • Be the voice of the customer and engage with Product teams to drive product localization and improvements.
  • Be a team player, contributing towards broad company goals in a world-class team with a performance- and people-driven culture.

Requirements

  • At least 3 yrs financial sales origination experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • An aggressive Sales hunter with a go-getter mindset. A hungry, infectious personality: We’re looking for someone who is ready to take up challenges, determined to win, and having the resourcefulness to achieve it.
  • This is an Individual contributor role. You need to onboard new Exporter clients amp; create your own portfolio of clients, to generate business amp; revenue for the company.
  • A Sales Hunter who can quickly tap an opportunity; can swiftly amp; effectively crack deals to increase sales.
  • You need to manage amp; develop these customer relationships to generate business amp; revenue consistently
  • Background in Import-Export/Factoring/Fintech/Financial Services a major benefit
  • Preferably experience in a metrics-driven sales organisation in a B2B environment
  • Ability to influence C-level executives as well as passionate owners/decision-makers of small and medium-sized businesses
  • Passion for small and medium-sized businesses, international trade and development and how digital trade finance can create significant growth for such businesses.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and high comfort level running CRM reports and analyses
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and departments
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and ever-changing dynamic environment
  • A MBA/Graduate degree or equivalent practical experience. People with prior experience in Exports/Transaction banking/Trade finance would be preferred.
