Technical Content Writer - 3 month contract

Job Description
We are looking for a talented technical writer with good command over English language, good research skills, able to learn and comprehend topics quickly.
This role will be on contract for 3 months.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conceptualizing, planning, developing and creating User Manuals, Online help, Product Help Videos, Quick Reference Guides, Release Notes and Newsletters.
- Planning deliveries in line with business requirements and ensuring timely delivery of the documents as per production plan.
- Creating and maintaining documents in line with the writing, presentation and editing standards.
- Reviewing, editing and formatting documents.
- Creating and sharing weekly Communiques (internal amp; external) by Content Team.
- Regular interaction with Product Management team to understand software related changes and to create required content.
- Regular interaction with Global Delivery to understand client specific Content requirements to create relevant content.
- Maintain and report content adoption on a monthly basis.
Requirements
- Experience with creating digital content. Should have 6 months 3 years of experience in Digital Content Creation.
- Strong grasp of Written and Spoken English
- Excellent Time Management amp; Effective Prioritization
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Flexibility and ability to work with changing timelines
- Ability to understand technical terms
- High degree of self-motivation and strong orientation toward teamwork
- Excellent MS Office Skills
- Working knowledge of (if not used frequently) Captivate, Camtasia, Flash, HTML
Additional Requirements
- Added preference to experience working on LMS and CMS
- Understanding of the practices and rules on Instructional Design
- A basic understanding of procurement domain
- Location: Mumbai / Bangalore
- Education: BSc. IT, MCA, BCA, BSc Com Sc., Other Graduates (with technical skills mentioned above)
