Where do you come into the picture?
You will come in as a senior member of our Financial Reconciliation amp; Accounting process. As a Reconciliation and Accounting Product owner, you will be working with the Financial Reconciliation Team, Finance, Engineering Team, the Platform Team (the ecosystem for payments here at NIUM) and the Product team.
You will need to be collaborative as a team member and always be willing to share the knowledge with colleagues. You will act as bridge for all the functions (mentioned above).

What would a day in your life @ Nium look like?
- Define the product vision as well as develop and maintain the product roadmap.
- Be the connector/liaison for product, engineering, analytics, and business operations through the entire project life cycle.
- Design product reconciliations that satisfy various business requirements; drive the testing, implementation, and post-production support.
- Develop and track initiatives milestones and schedules for many moving parts. Estimate work efforts, manage teams competing priorities, and remove blockers / dependencies to push the team to be highly effective. Manage project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders.
- Gather requirements and scope projects, facilitate discussions and drive resolution of issues. Drive and stay on top of project/program execution and highlight risks. Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities.
- Work closely with engineering and business partners to resolve issues that arise during design and implementation and post-production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management for a Reconciliation/Accounting tool.
- An understanding of technology in terms of architecture at high-level
- Hands on experience of tools like Jira, Confluence
- Attention to details with strong documentation skills.
- Should have worked in an Agile methodology.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Engineering Team, Business Users and Product team
- Behavioral competencies strong stakeholder management skills, ability to negotiate where required, provide a ‘no surprise’ environment, ability to focus on the long term goal and yet support short term approaches where required and accepted.
