The Head of People Operations has overall responsibility for the HR Shared Services Team and the HR Technology and analytics teams delivering consistently high levels of service while driving continuous improvement. This person will lead the teams through a period of change, evolving current models and enabling HR Operations to deliver high quality centralized HR service to the business.
Your day to day:
- Deliver the design of a comprehensive HR Shared Services operating model that improves the employee experience.
- Create high quality knowledge base content amp; communicate that content to the right audience at the right time.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements that will contribute to more efficient working practices.
- Partner closely with operational stakeholders across departments within the business amp; be a key bridge of effective interaction and connectivity.
- Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
- Lead, manage and streamline all elements of our people analytics function
- Analyze trends, research best practices, monitor economic conditions, and make recommendations for program revisions and development
- Partner closely with key stakeholders across the People, Finance, Legal teams as well as Business leadership to understand their needs, solve business challenges, and ensure successful deployment of analytics and insights
- Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of people analytics tools and systems
- Assist in preparing analysis and materials for Board/executive management review meetings and other leadership presentations
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in similar role in a technology environment.
- Experience managing knowledge bases amp; case management systems (preferably Service Desk amp; Confluence)
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, project management and process documentation.
- Displays robust functional knowledge of HR business processes and best practices.
- Robust experience in HR systems amp; technology (preferably ADP).
- Ability to clearly communicate changes to stakeholders across various functions and locations
- Operates with a high level of accuracy amp; detail in work.
- Progressive analytics experience with increasing levels of responsibility in identifying, consulting, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions
- Deep subject matter expertise, including trends, thought leadership and practical hands-on administration
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Highly skilled at analytics, data visualization, planning, process efficiency, organization, critical thinking, and delegation
- Excellent business acumen and judgement; strong team orientation with collaborative style; able to maturely handle sensitive and confidential information
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing business requirements and challenging situations in a positive and productive manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills amp; demonstrated collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
