Job Description

The Head of HR Shared Services has overall responsibility for ensuring that the HR Shared Services Team delivers consistently high levels of service while driving continuous improvement and effectively managing compliance. This person will lead the team through a period of change, evolving current HR service delivery model and enabling HR Operations to deliver high quality centralized HR service to the business.

Your day to day:

  • Deliver the design of a comprehensive HR Shared Services operating model that improves the employee experience.
  • Drive day-to-day operational excellence. Ensure incoming HR Service Center tickets are quickly, accurately, and empathetically addressed by the team or routed to the appropriate Center of Excellence and ensure follow through.
  • Create high quality knowledge base content amp; communicate that content to the right audience at the right time.
  • Build strong relationships with HR leadership amp; HR COE’s to understand HR shared service delivery expectations and ensure services meet or exceed those expectations.
  • Act as general HR subject matter expert with direct involvement in operational HR cases where a greater level of seniority or experience is required.
  • Ensure employee data amp; transactions in are completed accurately.
  • Serve as internal immigration liaison.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements that will contribute to more efficient working practices.
  • Collect and compile meaningful HR metrics and effectively distribute to key stakeholders across the business, tailoring to the specific audiences as necessary.
  • Partner closely with operational stakeholders across departments within the business amp; be a key bridge of effective interaction and connectivity.
  • Build and maintain a positive environment to train and develop team members to foster understanding of broad HR principles, policies, procedures and systems with a high level of customer service focus.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in similar role in a technology environment.
  • Experience managing knowledge bases amp; case management systems (preferably Service Desk amp; Confluence)
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, project management and process documentation.
  • Displays robust functional knowledge of HR business processes and best practices.
  • Robust experience in HR systems amp; technology (preferably ADP).
  • Ability to clearly communicate changes to stakeholders across various functions and locations
  • Operates with a high level of accuracy amp; detail in work.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing business requirements and challenging situations in a positive and productive manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills amp; demonstrated collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
