Chief Marketing Officer

We are looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to oversee all marketing operations of the company and develop its marketing strategy and vision. You will be in charge of a team of enthusiastic marketers and will drive our marketing efforts towards great success. An excellent CMO is passionate about their profession and has great knowledge of all things marketing. They can balance a practical mindset with a creative business acumen and lead people through complex marketing operations. The goal is to ensure the company’s marketing efforts are successful in helping it outperform the competition.

A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a passion for building and operating business-driving marketing teams while being able to contribute in a hands-on fashion as we grow and develop our business. They should have a deep understanding of modern marketing practices across the entire spectrum of marketing channels. The ideal candidate has 7 12 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in crypto, fintech or cybersecurity marketing.

This position is remote based, reports into the CEO of Exidio and is a key member of the executive team. This is a highly collaborative role working with key stakeholders.

• Turn the Exidio, and indirectly Sentinel, brand into a household name globally
• Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands
• Define and drive marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
• Drive Exidio's user growth in all geographies
• Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
• Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (social media, digital, press etc.)
• Build and scale a highly efficient team of marketing professionals
• Create and manage a solid network of strategic partnerships
• Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique voice
• Listen to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company

Requirements

• 7 - 12+ years of experience in crypto, fintech or cybersecurity marketing
• Proven experience as a chief marketing officer or similar role
• Passionate about online privacy and the future of the web
• Community management and blockchain marketing experience.
• Proven track record of outstanding user growth

• Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
• Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
• Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM)
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
• BSc/BA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
