Unacademy is looking for a senior executive to fill a leadership role and take end to end ownership of it's core business YouTube channels. The candidate filling this role will have the opportunity to grow our YouTube business exponentially.
Roles amp; Responsibilities
- Candidate must ensure regular input delivery by collaborating with Unacademy's top content partners, as well as managing relevant in-house teams E.g. Design) Brainstorm with relevant internal stakeholders and external partners to identify top quality content likely to enhance Unacademy's reach and viewership
- Ensure alignment among our partners to deliver regular top quality content for learners
- Verification of all content being uploaded across channels in line with guidelines
- Identify best practices in YouTube channel management and ensure adoption across all our channels Identify and execute new initiatives to constantly increase our YouTube viewership
- Ensure promotion of Unacademy's features and products across our YouTube properties
- Drive regular engagement of our follower base through YouTube's community features
- Optimize the look and feel of our YouTube channels to ensure viewer attention is concentrated on our most in-demand properties
- Report regularly to senior management on progress, initiatives and viewership
- Drive path to profitability through monetization of viewer base
Requirements
Experience in monetization of freemium products or growing subscriptions on OTT or social media platforms
Growth hacking via social media platforms for consumer internet companies
Proven experience of growing user base over social media platforms
Experience in growing YouTube reach of other online companies
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
Experience in EdTech industry/ managing and growing your own YouTube channels is a plus
