Where do you come into the picture?

You will be responsible for managing/coordinating RFI/RFP/Bid responses through the entire process by collaborating with various departments across the vertical business unit (BU) within NIUM. In this role, you will deliver high-quality proposals and ensure the NIUM product proposition is clearly articulated and is in line with the NIUM messaging/themes/value propositions.

In addition to the primary Bid Management responsibilities, you will accelerate the global expansion of our products that make us a universal plug for financial services. In your role, you will be collaborating with the sales team to win new business, capture and convey best practices and provide prescriptive guidance around application and systems design on the Nium’s platforms and technologies, via direct customer/partner interaction, development of technical content and provide operational event support. You will help drive the evolution of the Nium platforms and technologies by providing direct input and feedback from the field to the engineering teams developing these offerings.

What would a day in your life @ Nium look like?

In Bid Management, you would :

  • Proactively build amp; manage RFI/RFP/Bid opportunity pipeline globally.
  • Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, from inception to post-bid.
  • Establish best practices in RFI/RFP/Bid and deliver compelling 360-degree, customer-centric bid responses.
  • Liaise with a wide variety of involved parties (global, regional, country) to cover all required information to complete proposals and ensure delivery on time and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the bid process, capabilities, tools, and other supporting systems.
  • Work closely with marketing teams on developing marketing collaterals, key content messaging and customer experience aligned on brand, policy, and strategy.
  • Overall accountability for winning bids (not submitting bids).

In Project management, you would:

  • Lead preliminary implementation engagements with clients to help them understand the NIUM platform
  • Elicit requirements from the client, internalize the way their business works, and list use cases that the client is looking for
  • Create proposed solution artifacts (documents/presentations) to help the client understand how the NIUM platform will fit into their overall landscape
  • Lead discussions with the Clients' team to clarify doubts on integration aspects.
  • Design and develop specification documents and work with the Client and Sales team to get sign-off.
  • Co-create proposals with the Sales team and provide timely clarifications on our product capabilities
  • Demonstrate the highest levels of customer-centricity and take the lead in resolving queries or problems faced by clients at all stages of implementation
  • Provide post-go-live support for client clarifications that would enable smooth delivery of our committed services
  • Undertake strategic filtering of Change Requests and Requirements based on feasibility and shortlist in a way that ensures add elements that have scalable and impactful on our product.
  • Develop a broad and deep understanding of the NIUM stack capabilities amp; architecture.
  • Work closely with the Clients, BD, Tech, and other support Teams to suggest possible enhancements amp; feature additions in NIUM product offerings.
  • Keep abreast of industry changes and innovations in the larger cards and payments space to stay ahead of the curve in coming up with innovative solutions for our customers

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years sales support and/or proposal management and/or Project Management in the Payments industry.
  • Practical knowledge of the payments industry landscape.
  • Proven organizing skills and an obsession for details with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
