Job Description

Manages the human resources function and provides support to CL India team, Global HR Manager, and Exec team, concentrating in the areas of recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and CL India HR administration.

1. Provides human resources support to CL US amp; India employees by working closely with department managers, employees, and/or other parties in order to implement and manage the HR function.
2. Manages the recruitment, selection, onboarding, new hire probation period management, talent management, and employee exit processes.
3. Coordinates payroll processes and audits payroll inputs prior to accepting and submitting to payroll provider.
4. Oversees and manages leave administration for all CL US amp; India employees and management.
5. Works closely with service providers for payroll, leave, and benefits enrollment and administration.
6. Advises and educates managers in all the relevant areas of US amp; Indian employment law and behavioral interviewing techniques.
7. Coaches CL US amp; India managers to proactively address and resolve performance or behavior issues, including appropriate documentation, as well as, to encourage, train, and motivate employees to perform at higher levels.
8. Provides quality administrative and project support, ensuring tasks are accurately completed within specified timeframes by working with department managers, employees, vendors, subcontractors, and others.
9. Administers ongoing programs such as salary administration, policies and procedures, performance management, including rewards and recognition.
10. Coordinates employee activities, training sessions, meetings, and holiday events as needed.
11. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

1. Degree in Human Resources or related field.

2. 5 years of US human resources generalist experience with an MNC handling US HR and at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

3. Computer literate in working with spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail software, and payroll applications. Advanced typing skills

4. Extensive knowledge of computer systems with proficiency in software and applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

5. High standard of ethics and integrity along with experience maintaining confidentiality, including integrity and security of computer systems, files, and data.

6. Strong analytical skills and aptitude for math and numbers in order to audit payroll and benefits, proofread documents, conduct research, and develop HR metrics.

7. Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and ability to apply them to current business situations.

8. Well developed interpersonal and persuasive skills with the ability to interact and influence across all levels of the organization.

9. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment managing multiple priorities.

10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well developed presentation skills.

11. Good understand of US HR compliance and laws including but not limited to i9s, eVerify etc.



Preferred:

- Experience using Workable amp; ADP Workforce a big plus

- Experience working for a US Based company a big plus
