About the Company
Blue Sky Analytics is a geospatial data intelligence startup that combines the power of AI amp; Satellite data to aid in the creation of a global environmental data stack.
Our first data set BreeZo on air quality was recognized and awarded by MIT, Patrick J McGovern Foundation, and Schmidt Futures. Our second data set Zuri, for tracking of farm and forest fires, won the Space Oscars. We are also part of the global coalition headed by Al Gore, Climate TRACE, and we are extremely excited that it was recently listed in the TIME Top 100 Innovations of 2020. Our funders include Beenext and Rainmatter.
Over the next 12 months, we aim to expand to 10 environmental data-sets spanning water, land, heat, and more! We are looking to grow our team to power this expansion.

As Talent Champion, you will be responsible for building a great global team and a phenomenal company. You will not only have to understand what key objectives of the team but you will effectively contribute to the team success by shaping the talent onboarded. The ultimate goal is to build a strong talent pipeline that will address not only the current but also the future hiring needs of Blue Sky Analytics.
You will have the opportunity to develop your career in Talent Acquisition, gain global exposure and strengthen your foundations in recruitment. You’ll work closely with our executive leadership team. You will be responsible for finding talent in the US, Europe and other markets as we continue our global expansion. The result of your work will elevate our brand and our team. You will report directly to the CXOs.
Work Experience
2-3 years of demonstrable work experience in sourcing, recruiting and hiring.
Responsibilities
Management: You will manage the entire hiring process which will include writing the job description, sourcing of candidates, processing of candidates, coordinating with the hiring manager on assignments and assessments, final evaluation by the CXOs, etc.
Marketing: You will collaborate with the marketing team for designing and implementing effective outbound sourcing strategies fitting each role.
Sourcing: You will build strong talent pipelines for current and future positions to help us hire faster.
Innovate: You will analyze the talent market and develop path breaking strategies that don’t over index on compensation but team talent, culture amp; learning opportunities
Improve: You will constantly strive to improve the recruiting processes and collect feedback from hiring teams and candidates.
Events: You will be the face of the company at job fairs and campus events.

What is the application process like?
Your profile will be shortlisted after which you will have an introductory call. This will help us in understanding how well you align with the company's vision. This will be followed by a round of calls with a few evaluators, and the CEO/CTO. If you are selected for an interview, find out about Blue Sky beforehand- read our blogs, look at our website, watch our youtube videos, etc. Basically, just NERD OUT!
