Job Description

Laundryheap is an award winning and industry leading startup that is revolutionizing laundry and dry cleaning. We collect, clean, and return an individual’s items in as little as 24 hours, often making us the fastest in our industry. Headquartered in the UK, we are in the process of expanding across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America.


Based in Bengaluru, you will be reporting remotely to Logistics Team Lead based in our London office.

We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in stakeholder management and team leadership. As a Senior Fleet Associate, your role will be divided into five key areas: Partner community relations, feedback, support, acquisition, and provisioning. As we are an international brand working with different time zones, we would require the potential candidate to be flexible to work in shift patterns (including night shifts) with us.

As a Senior Fleet Associate, you will lead one of our three regional teams (North America, Europe, or Asia-Pacific). You will support the Team Lead in executing KPI reviews and developing your team - their success is your success. You should make endeavours to fix any performance issues to ensure you meet your KPIs. With this in mind, you are responsible for other Associates and Junior Associates within your region.

Requirements

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with our Partner Drivers around the world from the moment they apply.
  • Liaising with our colleagues in London, Dubai, and Singapore.
  • Supporting Partner Drivers with any questions or concerns they may have, such as onboarding, payment questions, and contract issues.
  • Taking charge of investigating driver errors and supporting/ disciplining drivers, where required.
  • It is vital you have a strong grasp and command of the English language.
  • Working alongside our Fleet Team India, Customer Operations and Delivery Support Team.
  • As an international brand we would require the potential candidate to be flexible to work in shift patterns (varying between 05:30-14:30, 13:30-22:30, 21:30-06:30 IST)
  • Responding to ongoing driver queries, issues, and feedback
  • Responsible for matching driver supply to client demand
  • Working closely alongside the Fleet Team to streamline processes
  • Responsible for managing driver performances
  • Project-based improvements - lead and take ownership of any given project for improving how Laundryheap operates
  • Lead, support, and develop one of our three regional teams.

  • Strong command of the English language
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Previous experience in operations and logistics is a big plus!
  • Previous experience in a startup is a big plus!
