Job Description
Sureify drives customer engagement between the customer and their insurance company by incorporating web amp; mobile apps, into the insurance product experience. Our product is controlled by our backend dashboard so insurers can get the latest data streaming in, whether it be IoT data or how users are interacting with our products. The SaaS platform is designed to ensure that insurers never miss opportunities to increase engagement with their existing customer base.
We are looking for an ETL developer who can analyze the company's data needs and define the target data warehouse, which can be used to answer any data questions and analyze the company's goals and performance. Responsibilities will include the data modeling, developing, deploying and maintaining data pipelines. Maintaining and testing the data quality.
Requirements
- Consulting with data management teams to get a big-picture idea of the company’s data storage needs.
- Presenting the company with warehousing options based on their storage needs.
- Designing and coding the data warehousing system to desired company specifications.
- Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.
- Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.
- Testing the new storage system once all the data has been transferred.
- Troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Providing maintenance support.
Skills And Qualifications
- Very strong in SQL (MySQL, Postgres, Redshift) . Demonstrated experience with parallel RDBMS preferred (e.g., Teradata, Netezza, etc.)
- Skills in database ETL with continuous desire to reduce workload by automation
- Experience on Airflow is an added advantage.
- Proven work experience as an ETL developer.
- Experience on data modeling would be a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting languages to automate small parts of the process
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
