CodeChef has the vision to help Indian programmers become the best in the globe by improving their problem-solving ability. To achieve this vision we partner to set up a College Chapter with the students and faculty to build and make coding culture accessible.
As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the growth of the college community towards CodeChef’s vision. This will involve strategizing and implementing initiatives, community building, maintaining relations with internal and external stakeholders, growing the program team, managing program budget, and anything more required for the growth of the program.
In this role, you can expect to grow as a leader, learn to handle multiple projects and teams, and manage things at scale.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with different project stakeholders and cross-functional teams, to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external partners and convert them to measurable goals
- Build and maintain relations with relevant stakeholders and grow the reach
- Develop and manage the budget for projects and be accountable for the deliverables
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
Requirements
The ideal candidate
- Has experience of building brand communities responsible for outreach and learning
- Has relevant experience of working with colleges particularly engineering
- Has exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Has problem-solving, mediation, crisis intervention, and negotiation skills
- Is capable of interacting effectively and building good relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Has excellent stakeholder management skills
- Has an understanding of community development principles amp; practice
- Has 4+ years of experience in community and program management role.
