Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Scientist (Microfluidics) for our India office to lead the design and development of rapid microfluidic bioassays for our point-of-care lab-on-a-chip system. As a Chief Scientist, you will work both independently and in collaboration with medical professionals and the rest of the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic amp; motivated candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit who will help us create our bench to bedside product that impacts numerous patient lives.


Responsibilities Include

  • Design, execute amp; validate immune-based assays for Sepsitron’s point-of-care system
  • Optimize assay performance
  • Conduct in-vitro diagnostic studies with samples from human subjects
  • Supervise interns
  • Participate on multi-functional teams related to launching Sepsitron’s products
  • Conduct verification and validation studies leading to regulatory submissions
  • Preparing SOPs, validation and bio-analytical reports
  • Preparing documentation for ISO 13485 certification, CDSCO, EU / FDA clearences

Requirements

  • PhD / MS or equivalent in biomedical or chemical or mechanical engineering, with an emphasis in microfluidics
  • Demonstrated expertise in design, implementation, modelling, characterization and fabrication of microfluidic devices
  • Strong experience in CAD modeling amp; COMSOL or ANSYS
  • Expertise in microfluidic flow simulations
  • Expertise in microfabrication and assembly of microfluidic components
  • Strong knowledge on microscale transport
  • Fabrication and validation of microfluidic devices using cell lines, blood and clinical samples
