Job Description
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A Tresata Software Product Manager (SPM) is a team leader who manages a cross-functional team through ideation, technical development, and the launch of innovative analytics solutions on Tresata’s platform. SPM’s are tasked with developing and implementing our product vision in order to maximize the company's strategic competitive position.
As a Tresata SPM, you will guide and make product decisions to improve user experience and balance the product’s long-term priorities with short-term needs. Working with cross-functional product development teams, you will integrate research, usability studies and market analysis into product requirements, and you will develop, own, and sustain 1+ product(s) agile roadmaps. The SPM owns each assignment from end to end and communicates insights, recommendations, and results with key stakeholders, C-suite executives, team members, and customers on a daily basis.
Success in this role requires an appreciation and deep understanding of lean, agile, and user-focused design values, principles and practices. An SPM must also have great comfort and confidence in leading global teams across time-zones towards a common goal.
Requirements
WHAT SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE YOU NEED TO BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years software product management or software product design experience.
- 2+ years of experience in delivering web-based apps and/or analytics products.
- 2+ years experience leading product development with Agile, SCRUM, and or Lean methodologies.
- Experience with wire-framing, designing, and prototyping user interfaces.
- Exceptionally strong organizational, documentation, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with web application technologies, such as JavaScript, React.JS, Node.JS, and Data Visualization is a plus.
- Ideal experience includes: development of enterprise software products and familiarity with design and prototype tools like Sketch, Hadoop, Spark and related technologies.
